I’m a Registered Psychologist and a settler on Treaty 6 territory, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Nêhiyawak (Cree), Niitsítapi (Blackfoot), Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Tsuut’ina, and Métis Nations.

I acknowledge the ongoing and enduring presence, strength, and sovereignty of the Indigenous peoples of this land. I also recognize that colonial systems—including those embedded in healthcare and mental health—continue to cause harm.

As a mental health practitioner, I am committed to the ongoing work of decolonizing my practice, which includes learning from Indigenous worldviews, naming and challenging systemic oppression, and creating space for more relational, accountable, and community-rooted care.
