Offers professionally‑facilitated support groups for individuals and family members affected by eating disorders/disordered eating across Alberta.

Nalgona Positivity Pride (NPP) is an unconventional eating disorder awareness organization that shines a light on the often-overlooked societal factors that perpetuate unrealistic and oppressive beauty and health standards. NPP offers a vital space for BIPOC individuals to celebrate and embrace their bodies and identities.

We are compassionate, weight-inclusive dietitians who embrace an anti-oppressive approach. We support humans going through recovery and healing from eating disorders, disordered eating or dieting.

Inclusive Eating Disorder Support

The Renfrew Center is a trusted leader in eating disorder treatment, where healing feels personal and community runs deep. They have guided more than 100,000 adolescent girls, women, transgender, and non-binary individuals to recovery from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, ARFID, and other eating disorders through compassionate, evidence-based programs. Based in the U.S. offering virtual treatment nationwide.

Center for Discovery and Discovery Mood & Anxiety are proud to offer free online eating disorder support groups for anyone who has been impacted by an eating disorder or mental health.

EDSNA offers professionally-facilitated support groups to people over the age of 18. Groups serve those affected by eating disorders/disordered eating, and caregivers (parents, partners, and loved ones).

Eating Disorders Nova Scotia is a community-based organization that passionately believes everyone should have access to the support they need for recovery. A diagnosis or referral is not required, and services are available virtually.
